Just got home but I will post the pics soon. What really blew my mind was the 1950's Maserati 250F F1 car that was driven by Stirling Moss. This was the sister car to the 250F in which Juan Fangio ran his best race ever and came from behind in an obsolete car to beat Ferrari at the Ring, Amazing Jim's new 412P wasnt bad either The old 30s Alfa was very cool too There was Lawrence Stroll's 250 GTO that had a nose that looked like a piece of a tin shed had been riveted on where it had crunched the wall recently LOL
I missed it this year due to a wedding on Sat. I was looking foreward to seeing the twinner in the silver car. Has the swap been done yet??
Actually that was Tom Price's 250 GTO with the home built nose, a result of an incident that he had a couple of weeks ago at Mont Tremblant. Another car spun in front of him coming onto the start/finish straight. I didn't get a chance to say hi, Bill, but your car looked and sounded great on the track. John
Thanks, she was running great, too bad the weather was so bad on Thurs. I was running around 1:02 same times as the 333SP I know I could have gotten a 59 if the weather was better & there was less traffic. The car had never run better & I got rid of that twitchy handling problem by dropping the tire pressure 2 #
It was a great day! I was walking around on Sat. Lots of cool cars. Bill, I saw you standing next to your car before the 333 got there. I couldnt recall your name from the boards here so I decided not to say hi. But your car sounds VERY nice on the track! I did manage to run into my friend Ian Prout from SCDA up at the Ride and Drive. I got to sit in the 612 and some of the Masers. Very cool. I also saw Dennis but everytime I was going to go talk with him someone grabbed him before I could!
Exactly. I was at Mont-Tremblant 2 weeks ago for the event. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
