I'd say Vinaccia or bordeaux pontevecchio from the Maserati Range.. Condor Man you're familiar with Ferraris painted in a maserati color... (If I'm not Mistaking you're the owner of a 599 painted in Grigio Alfieri)

Correct and it was such a beautiful colour too.

Now sold and I am looking to add an F12 to my collection for purely European touring.

Very nice indeed - Doesn't look dark enough to be Vinaccia -IMO

I tend to agree it is looking Bordeaux Pontevecchio IMO.

The obvious answer is Vinaccia but looking closely it would seem maybe a tad lighter... and looking even more carefully it might be metallic, indeed. I think Rubino is out of the question, too, so maybe one of those Maserati colours you mention...

I'm sorry what's so amazing? Is it because we are so accustomed to Rossa Corsa or Nero that anytime we see a standard color on a Toyota Camry (which Ferrari charges extra for) we are indulged?!

Absolutely. The pricing policy is a shame. But the cars in these rare colours are still so amazing. I've complained about it, too. Renault just released something like a 3-layer or amazing metallic red for the Clio at an extra cost just like any other metallic, while if you want ANY metallic red for your F-car you have to pay thousands.
