Amazing Dog Stories

While pondering the domestication of cats I remembered an occasion where my dog truly amazed me. My German Shepherd pushed past me and got out the front door to chase a hood dog running by. They both ran about 2 blocks down & stopped at the pond to wrestle. I panic thinking my dog is gone & I’ll never get her back again. I called, “Porsche!” She stopped. I called, “Porsche, come!” She did. Completely new situation. Nothing trained. Just her master’s voice.
Is this THE German Shepherd? I think yes. This was something beyond I ever imagined. Has your dog ever amazed you?
