    that's incredible!

    I'd think it would be more economical to buy just the body or a stripped down version from the factory than a fullblown roadready STi.... Is that not possible? Seems like a waste.

    I believe the rules state that it must be constructed from a production car. That means a car that has rolled off the production line.

    Otherwise the factory could supply a special car to the team in terms of chassis.
