    Does anyone know where this sensor is located?
    I've got Code 0074 "intermittent".

    I believe it is that little "lump" under the driver's side outside mirror. At least that's the one that gives the outside temperature reading on the dash.

    Is this the input to the OBD II system? Because I have code 0074 "Intermittent Ambient Air Temp Sensor"

    Lessons Learned Feedback; YES the ambitent Air Temp Sensor under the Driver Side Mirror is for BOTH the A/C System and the OBD II.

    What I found was an intermittent fuse for the a/c control (10A behind drivers seat) and when the a/c is out, it also triggers the Check Engine light.

    Fix fuse.....fix both.
