Actually, we're published in Vermont; the corporate HQ is in Charlotte, but they were no help.

    Call it wishful thinking.

Alexander Rossi's facebook status says "...more news to come" and directly underneath he commented "racing :)" Is this a sign of something to come? I sure hope so!

Rossi has already signed for a full season in GP3

Still the possibility of a testing seat.. Correct me if I'm wrong but in recent history haven't multiple 3rd drivers in F1 been full time competitors in GP2 and GP3 as well?

This is true. Hartley ran [almost] a full series in Euro series as well as WSBR the same season he was the RBR reserve.

As an aside, I think he made the right call in stepping away as he was probably spreading himself a bit to thin. He may not have won the BF3 title but he was probably the quickest guy on track that year.

I don't know, I took the statement in bold in the OP to mean we likely wouldn't see a US driver in the car this year... maybe I'm weird...

I wonder if JPM was ever considered for USF1. I would love to see him race for them.

Its looks like the USF1 seat is a rent-a-ride. I don't think JPM would stoop in paying to be a backmarker.
