Love the Torino and Road Runner and garage signs. I'm guessing the 6-Pak smokes the Torino? Give us a little feedback.

Why do I hear "Two brothers... One speaks no English, the other learned English from watching "The Wide World of Sports." So you tell me... Which is better, speaking no English at all, or speaking Howard Cosell?" echoing in my head when I see this car? :D

    Beautiful!

Those Rivieras! So beautiful! From '63 through '67 I love 'em! After '67 they started to get too plush I think. Kind of silly looking too.

Great looking car you have. More pics?

I met Jeff at Cars & Coffee sometime back. Last month (May) Jeff had this fantastic car on display that I had never seen before. When you see the pictures you can understand why there was quiet a crowd around it. Jeff took the time to explain the history of the car and his restoration efforts. Last week Jeff gave me the attached photo album and said he decided to put the car up for sale. This would be a great show and parade car.

I have included an email that Jeff sent me, refreshing my memory on the details that I had forgotten since I last saw the car. Hit the attached link to view the car.

    John,

First, thank you for putting my neighbor kids in your Ferrari. They were thrilled!

Cecil Moore of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, built the car in '56-57, using a brand new '56 Corvette chassis. He formed the fiber glass body over a wire frame, and used a '55 Dodge Red Ram 270 c.i., Hemi engine for power. A two speed automatic trans sends the power to the rear wheels.

The wheels are Dayton Wires, and are fitted with vintage looking Firestones. I kept the original Montgomery Ward tires that Cecil put on the car in 1956.

The engine is well back of the front axle, so is a front-mid-engine car. Very far thinking in design.

Interior is original except carpet, which is new.

The car was featured with a 3 page spread in the October, 1959 issue of Hot Rod Magazine.

She has been shown at the Ironstone Winery in Murphy, California, winning an award, and at Classic Chassis in Houston, winning 2nd in class. It was invited to be shown at Keels and Wheels in Houston, without application, in 2013, but illness prevented me from showing.

I bought the car 6 years ago, which had been in a mid-western collection/museum, and began the restoration. It was body on restored by California Hot Rods in Sonora, California.

Included are some pics of the Hot Rod article.

The Moore Roadster would be great for the grand tours like the California Mille, or Colorado Grand, which are all the rage.

John, I am very grateful for all your help in finding the next owner of this unique car,for which I am asking, $120,000.

Hi guys. Here is my contribution to this thread. My 02, Gen II Dodge Viper. Car is stock with the exception of the Borla Exhaust.

I say that but, and I really need to check this for sure, but I suspect the previous owner modified the rear differential gear ratios as the speedo read 20% higher than actual across the board when I first picked it up. This on standard sized wheels of course. I corrected the speedo readout with the installation of a "Yellow Box" unit so it reads properly now.

Regardless, I love the car. Such a different experience than my 599. I enjoy them both immensely but honestly couldn't call one a favorite over the other at this point.
