Here are a few more of one of my toys.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That 65 Nova is a TWIN to one I had, less the roll cage. Same color exactly. I'll post my pics when my subscription is revived. Cool cars everyone. I've never seen so many Fords though in one place. I'll even that out soon with my GM pics.
Found three more. 1963 1/2 Ford Falcon Sprint. Had a 260 V8 with four on the floor and buckets. Engine revved pretty high and sure sounded like it was going much faster than it really was. I would really like to have this car back. It was a total blast to drive,,,,,,and I am a GM person. 1968 Roadrunner. 383 V8 with single 4 bbl and automatic. Pretty good ride for the day..Had to have one, even though it was not a GM. Ford Galaxie 500 with 406 V8, 3 2bbl carbs and 4 speed. Big sled that ran like crazy........This is a photo of a car nearly identical to mine except mine was bright red, very close to Rossa Corsa, not metallic like this picture. And mine did not have the bubble hood. I know, not a GM again but after this car I had a 409 Impala. Two Carter AFB's and a 4-speed stick. And this is it. The '62 Impala. And the one I have never owned but will, sometime in my life. A red '62 Vette 327 fuelie. I guess I would settle for a carbed car but I would really love to have a fuel injected one. Man, did I ever go through the cars back then. I would keep some of them only six months or so, grow tired of them and get rid of them for something else. How stupid was that? Even just one of them today is probably worth more than I paid for all of them combined back then. Picked up the '62 409 for under $3K. Makes me want to throw up. If I had known then what I know now.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hubbster Did you have that widebody racing corvette at Beaverun Racetrack this past July? I remember seeing one that looked identical to that and after looking through my pictures it had the same number and decals as the one you posted? It was at the Pittsburgh vintage Gran Prix races at Beaverun.
No, that was probably the previous owner. I plan on running at Lime Rock, the Glen, Pocono, Moroso, Homestead, maybe Sebring and Road America
Yes, its on the Greenwood site as a parts car that was built w Greenwood parts back in the 70s It was not built at Greenwoods shop though
here are a couple of mine. The Nova sold last year, the vette is for sale now. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ok, To cancel out some of the Mustangs in the thread My Camaro chronology. The car that started it for me, Dad's 67 SS/RS air convertible. All options avail. He bought in 68 as a 1 year old GM company car. Helping Dad do valve jobs and work on this one started my love for GM muscle cars. I've had a bunch of Novas and Vettes too, but here are just some Camaros. Sorry for the bad pic quality, most are shots of old photos. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Then my first Camaro. $250 in paper route money when I was 15. It was white and rusty, I learned paint and body and painted it black laquer in the driveway. 327 AT Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Next is a high school bad 331 4-speed car. Mid 12's. Also in pic, Dad's 71 Vette and Cosworth Vega. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Another driveway shot, not mine but best friend's 69 Z. I was the class gear head/ mechanic so all the guys hung out at my parent's place. (At least they knew where we were, and too broke to get in trouble except at the speed shop) My 59 in pic also, still have that one, and the other car is a 68 Chevelle SS 396. Next is my bracket car/street racer. Ran 9.85 /138. Saw some street action but it was hard to pick on people with this car. It had a Steve Schmidt 468 and automatic. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That thing is beautiful!! I want another Grand National now, one with low mileage and in great shape. Maybe 'round summertime. I entered my car in a hot rod and classics car show this weekend...first time... RMX Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
DON'T laugh. As I said, we were too broke for food, clothes and haircuts, so here I am at 19 with an 800 hp Camaro. Priorities. Image Unavailable, Please Login

This 68 SS/RS had so many options. It even had cruise, and was only 1 of 327 car built in 68 with that option. Last is my only later model one, bought with a blown up LS1. I put a crate motor for a Z-06 Corvette in it and it was a great driver. Would run in the 12's and cruise at 28 mpg on the interstate. This was Mrs SMS's daily driver for awhile. There, I think I offest some of the Fords in this thread! Image Unavailable, Please Login
They are pretty tempting, especially doing one up in that Sunoco Trans Am livery. None on order now though, just dreaming.
