Ive seen your cars on SVTP before and man I LOVE that Cobra R. I also like the Marauder, I always thought that would be cool with a built 5.4 and some turbos, for a 4 door that hauls serious ass and grociers.
Whoa, how long has it been since I have seen cutouts? Did your dad ever open the caps and let the engine sing?
Oddly, I don't think so. They were the only thing he did that is out of character with the rest of the build, but since he always puts them on his old cars, I relented and let him. Shiny Side Up! Bill
Thanks, I love it too LOL All three are now resting for the winter... This time of year always sucks for the enthusiast. Esp. now that super is under $2/gallon, after paying $4.50 + all summer long. I'm sure you know, many guys over on MercuryMarauder.net have the trilogy kits, nice supercharged motors. Would be nice to drop in the new Shelby GT500 5.4 SC in the car too !!!
Gotta love the Cobra R. It looks like you have the Bassani tips on there. I just got the Borla's for my 94. I like the sound but it's still too quiet. Peter Hatch
I have been the proud owner of not one, but TWO GNs that I bought new from Conley Buick in both the summers of 1986 and 1987. The stories I have from back then when no one knew what they were. I have considered buying another in the near future to keep around on a permanent basis. Would be a great companion for my Chevelle. Good, no story GNs are getting expensive. That's beautiful, Challenge. RMX
Thanks RMX! Conley Performance Plus has sadly closed his doors indefinitely. He decided to go travel (RV) the US with the wife for a while. His son considered (tried) to get it going again, but that didn't happen. I think you can still buy stuff off the site but that's it. This is my second TR, and it stays. I don't wanna have one of those moments later in life when I say "I shouldn't have gotten rid of that car". Too much blood sweat and tears in this one.
Every time I show up to a cruise-in-show with the 328 and there's a Grand National in 80's class I get my butt kicked.
Here is a Pic a friend of mine took while we where coming home from a cold morning car show. Image Unavailable, Please Login
A couple from the other end..... A friend of mine is building one up now to run at the 1/8 tracks around our area.........He is using good stuff so it should be pretty bad. They were bad enough without being hopped up..... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

That's not E-Ticket is it? (John N) What does that say on the windshield? I know most of the NTexas guys....or know of them.
I really could not tell you. I have these pictures saved but from where I cannot remember. A couple of years back I think.......sorry.
The picture of the Buick on the right is a local NJ Racer and that picture was taken at E-Town Raceway park in NJ
Thanks, I do not know where I acquired them. I have a number of photos that have been sent to me from others and that could have happened.........
Yup, but there's always the Regal T-Type. Same engine, just different cosmetics. While the cosmetics of the GN are awesome, the ride is even better, so a T-Type can serve a similar purpose! The one muscle car I owned was a 1959 Chevy "Sedan Delivery" - basically a wagon with no side windows (other than the doors of course). It had a 348ci V8 with a 3-spd on the column. It was white with a red interior, and it had Cragars on it (what else!). I always wanted to paint it black and put a phony casket in the back to mess with people (hey, I was in high school, it sounded neat at the time), but it was sold off for next to nothing, I think $1000.00. I'll try to find pics. My Dad also owned a '61 Vette, which is now with my brother.
