Before everything went woke, I saw a media report on where those card were used: Disney world, Las Vegas, casinos, cruise ships, Disneyland, etc, etc.
I got my first Amex card (the traditional green one) back in 1973. At the time I considered it a badge of maturity, proof that I had established good credit and was now entrusted with very high (relative to the times) credit limits, with the understanding the debt would be fully settled at the end of each month. Years later I did get a gold card and kept that for travel expenses. At Amex cheapened their brand and brought out more and more versions, I just ignored them...having all the credit I could ever imagine using. In the last year, with a touch of regret, I have completely stopped using Amex. Their woke political statements have shown them to be, in my opinion, Un-American Express.
I take it you mean this card? Dubai First Royale MasterCard, World's Most Exclusive Credit Card? (dannydealguru.com)
Yup, but that's quite garish in my opinion, and would only raise eyebrows in the Middle East. There are clones with other banks that use the diamond gimmick. I'll call it exactly that. My personal favorite is the JP Morgan Palladium card. Cheers

I don't think there is one that isn't woke. But it was too much for me with (Un)American Express. Now I just using my BofA VISA card and getting lots of cash back points. I've shut down all my other cards.
New Centurian cards are awful (appearance wise)! My platinum business amex is great for scraping windows. The Centurian card edge chips off.
I have the platinum for a few years and don't even think it's worth it. I rarely fly commercial, and don't think it's worth the time to research and activate all the other perks. Not really sure why I'm keeping the plat card. The truth is I use my Chase cards (personal and business) a lot more because their points give me more bang per dollar spent.
someone asked 12 years ago if Centurions were everywhere in SoCal, yes, (have had mine for 16 years), now everyone has them, they are pretty much a dime a dozen out here, J.P. Morgans Palladium card now the Reserve card has lowered it's $20 million minimum in assets to $10 million (which is not even a nice house out here) so there are a lot more showing up.
Yep, still made of same palladium based material. Previously your signature was laser etched in, now just the usual piece of white tape you sign.
I’m done with premium cards. Back to Amex Gold. Other cards are not worth it to me. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
