Just read the new Auto Motor & Sport. In a short article about Alonso's future, they say according to 'insiders' that Kimi may end his career after the 2008 season, having reached his aim of becoming WDC.
I think the theory isn't that bad. Kimi is not exactly known for his strong working ethics, I could imagine he'd prefer partying the rest of his life. And it would explain why Massa's contract has been extended to 2010, they need a second driver beside Alonso (who would most likely join the team then) without an oversized ego. Opinions?

While I can see that and it would fit in nicely with the "Alonso to Ferrari in 09" rumors, Kimi himself states exactly the opposite:

Q: Are you already thinking about retiring ?
Raikkonen: ''Not at all. My horizon goes as far as 2009, when my contract with Ferrari comes to an end. I don't restrain myself with any limits. I don't know for how many more years I will drive.''

Q: But surely you know how many more worldtitles you want to win. Hamilton has said he wants seven.
Raikkonen: ''I've always said that I didn't want to retire as long as I hadn't won one. This objective has been reached. Now I want other titles, as many as possible. To start off with the next.''

Maybe Kimi is the insider AMS is quoting. The only thing left would be to find out if he first leaked that insider information, then drank some bottles of vodka and then gave the interview or vice versa.

I think Kimi will just walk out just unexpected , he has reached his objective.

Raikkonen: ''I've always said that I didn't want to retire as long as I hadn't won one.

It all guess work but it's sure pointing at FA in the horse sometime soon.

    Kimi will win another WDC.

Kimi will not race with Alonso as Teammate

Kimi will retire after 2011 when he gets the government approvals for his new energy drink based on vodka: Vodkonnen ( Not only gives you wings, it grows your also)

I don't ever see Alonso at Ferrari. There are too many similarities to Alain Prost. (Disaster, waiting to happen)
My prediction - and you read it here first - in 2009 or 2010, you will see in a Ferrari F1..............................

    Sebastian Vettel

    here are my reasons why.
    1. He's talented
    2. Schumacher loves him.
    3. He is in their 'B' team currently, so they are going to keep a close eye on his development.

I have no facts other than the above.

New York and Florida. That allows him to file law suits in both.

Also heard a rumor that Michael Schumacher is going to retire from F1. Unlikely.

    I hope so...

I've thought about that, too - maybe not 2009, but Vettel will still be young in 2010 or 2011.

i actually don't believe this. in that interview Andreas pointed out, u can see that kimi's not stressed out or pressured anymore since he's already achieved his objective. at the same time, notice his fire :)
