Amsoil SAPS level for 2004 Challenge Stradale?

    I am looking to put Amsoil 5w40 in my 2004 Challenge Stradale. The European blend Amsoil has 3 different levels of SAPS. Which one is the correct one? My car does not have pre cats (has Tubi headers), and the stock cats have been replaced with Tubi highflow cats.

    It appears, with my limited rearch, that the higher the SAPS, the higher the wear protection, but the higher the damage to the cats? I'm at a loss here.

    Any help is really appreciated.

    Get the higher one ..no concerns for a 360 or 430

    Newer cars and different EPA regs require the lower ones

    This is what I remember from my research 6 months ago

    No... Mobil 1 0w 40 on a few of my cars including the Scud .. Mobil 1 (different grade) on the rest

    Been using Mobil since the 80s

    Hard to break a habit .. not saying it is better or worse than any good oil
