I was thinking of going with amsoil syncromesh mtf in my 308 any thoughts thank you
Amsoil brand is very well known. I suspect it would be just fine. Many on this web site are partial to Redline, probably because many owners and mechanics have tried it and report their experiences. If you try the Amsoil, let us know how you liked it and if shifting into 2nd gear was any easier while cold. While I like the Redline NS and the 2nd gear cold shift was improved when the oil was new, that shifting improvement has diminished a bit, but that could just be me and having high expectations.
