    That's a high standard indeed. I can't do that. My workbench is to big. Car will get lost.

    I use the 1:18 Revell/Jouef or Universal Hobbies/Eagle Race 330 P4 models, strip them, build them up again with custom painted parts and add some serial number specific details.

    Apart from those very expensive kits, and run-of-the-mill diecasts, there used to be this detailed 1/43 P4 from Jouef (and also a 1/24 version), sometimes marketed as Revell:

    With a little bit of work to fit the missing chassis tubes (with or without the repair to the Targa '67 damage!) and suspension links, this should come up quite well and a lot cheaper.

    Jouef/Revells are fun to work with. Strange thing that the smaller models where the more detailed back then.
