An amazing experience

    I reckon I have had some fantastic Ferrari experiences, experiences that cant be quantified and today was another one of those.

    Often I think people living in Europe and the USA dont realize how lucky they are, relatively speaking Ferraris are more often seen than they are down here in Africa. Yes I have seen 430, 599s and many other Ferraris including Enzo, F50, F40 but there was a huge "hole" on my list, a car I utterly adore the magical 288 GTO(name debates for another thread!)....

    Today I saw one....parked next to a F40,parked next to an Enzo, parked next to a F50, parked next to a TDF 550 Barchetta, parked next to 575SA.

    To say the sight was awe inspiring was an understatement, the GTO is everything I hoped it would be, surely one of the most beautiful Ferraris ever made. The lines are so elegant but there is enough aggression to give it that mean look that is so Ferrari. Seeing pictures is one thing, being able to stand next to and admire at leisure something totally differant. Add the F40 next to it and the other cars and this is motoring heaven or rather Johan Rupert's Motoring Museum.....standing around these cars and not getting goose bumps is impossible and for about 30 mins I had a definate feeling of being in the presence of something great.
