What has happen since the grand track around your country? I have not seen the magazine articles, which I had been told I would see. This was the finest drive I have ever thought about. To go to the empty area was great. Why I not see it.

The best journey for many years.

Tough for a country to get excited about a ~$400k car when the average person is surviving on less than $1 a day.

As for outside of China, there was a good write up in Evo.

Shanghai government seems to have too much money, so it does not appear to be eager to fill the calender with events to generate revenue. It won't even allow practice sessions for race cars stored at the track outside of race weekends. So other than Moto GP, F1, A1, and some feeder events the track is really under utilized. A shame it's not run like Sepang in Malaysia where there are plenty of events. It is starting to improve somewhat, but access is still very restricted.

As for most of the driving population, they don't really need a track. They get their racing thrills from everyday driving on city streets by constantly trying to prove that two cars CAN fit into a space meant for one car.

What's awesome is by seeing this thread title I knew it was a Bart thread, only because of the obscure use of "China Man."

    Hey there Mr. China Man
Why do you not love the V12
Singing so sweetly across your Great Wall
    And driving throughout your country
    Yet things I see not
Appreciation and obeisance to the Scaglietti
