    I was reading the November, 2006, R & T this AM and came across an article called "Years Ago" where the writer indicates how advanced R & T was in the September, 1993, issue to hedge the announcements of future car models.

    Mentioned was a F375 Barchetta and shown was the body of the 456!

    Does anyone remember this or know anything additional about it?

    Wasn't it a Silver car with a camel colored interior...If this is it, an owner had Troutman & Barnes cut a 456 coupe, recontour the rear deck, and add a special custom engineered softop.

    They said it made a big hit when they drove it up to Monterrey, as I recall.

    The one shown in the current R & T looked deep blue almost like a Pozzi, and there was no soft top.
