is this really a bad deal? i know of several private transactions that would make one ask. especially when one considers the reults of the "disassembled" dino that sold yesterday as well:

$205,000 for the in-one-piece Dino?!?! Wow. Do you think this was a "real" transaction?

$85,000 for the in-one-thousand-pieces Dino?!?! That one is a little hard to swallow too . . . .

E bay isnt the only place Dinos sell for big money Shannons in Australia sold a Gt recently for $220,000 Aus which was restored but the engine number didnt match and no tools. I passed on one with no history and many parts missing a couple of years ago for $86k. The sad news is that they really are starting to cost that much just be thankfull if your one of us lucky few who already have one .

The silver car, if as advertised, at $205k was a fair deal, maybe cheap. Look at the "rare" cars for sale at Monterey in the $1+++ million range. They're beautiful, but drive like antiques. If I hadn't found my car, I'd have bid on the silver one for sure.

Of course, with the credit crunch and bonus crush coming on the Street, these prices may be a thing of the past -- a cycle is a cycle. If prices come down a lot, I'll buy another.

The weather's been lousy here, and I haven't taken the car out for 4 or 5 days. Serious withdrawl symptoms.
