    Anyone know where I can get the caps for the newer style analyzer tubes? These are caps and not the plugs. I have attached the drawing below and I'm looking for the caps to go on 25, 26, and 30. The diagram shows a plug but this is wrong. The second image is a picture of the new style top.

    Still available from Ferrari. They were in use at least until the 360.

    It is just an 8mm brass acorn nut.

    Didn't the people who sold you the tube know that?

    I looked through the exhaust tables on the 355 and the 360 and I don't see them. I have a 360 and I know what you are talking about but I can't find them. Can you give me a part number?

    Jim, that early photo doesn't show the nuts. Here are screen shots from RicambiUSA with the nut shown (#59). I picked up four a few years ago (PN 150595, pictured).

    Did you find a good deal on a tube/tubes, they tend to be pretty expensive? Make sure you use a lot of anti-seize on the threads, over time they overheat and get welded-in and snap off when you try to remove them.

    RE the tubes.....IIRC they are $400 a pop. I had two of mine replicated by a fabricator for $150. Dropped off the broken tubes and 3 days later two perfect tubes.

    They sent me the old nut style plugs and not the new ones. On Ricsmbi they show the new part number but they don't reference the different nut. I'll get them on order today.

    Thanks for the part number. Just running out of time to get it ready for Cavallino and I forgot I never ordered these.

    I paid $209 a piece for them. Rediculous but at least I have them and they are OEM. They weren't on the car when I purchased it and it's easy to overlook. Now I just have to get the home made caps someone made where they go into the exhaust system and I am all set.

    Good reminder for a preventative maintenance item..... pull 'em off on a regular basis and refresh the anti- seize!

    That will only help in the short term. The real problem is the material they are made out of is just not capable of dealing with the heat and the material just degrades and disintegrates.

    Someone was going to fabricate them out of a good grade of stainless but is was going to be a little expensive and there was not enough interest and that was at a price point below the OE part and he still couldn't sell them.


    If a plug is desired Ferrari has them in stainless pn 110860.

    Jim, if you can't get them quickly I'll put these in the mail and get them out to you. Where did you find the pipes for $209?
