Your friendship request has been accepted Marcello! Wonderful initiative to set up a facebook page for our beloved little turbo's.

I like the V8 roar a lot, really a lot, pity it got mixed with the rather annoying music.. Music is great, as long as it doesn't disturb the soundstage of a Ferrari ! Post it again, without it ! :)

And you skipped the "tunnel-sounds" !?!?

great video, thanks for sharing: next time, maybe better just the engine and wind sound with no music!

    ciao

Sorry, but the microphone of the GoPro was recording only the wind-sound - without any engine-sound. The few parts of the video, wich you can hear the engine sound in, are the only few parts. The rest is only windy noise. The tunel sound was as nasty as the windy sound, so I skipped it.

I did a Ferrari meeting yesterday with the twin of your 208 turbo. It was the very first time I drove it on a mountain road: no problem at all, a very good thrust and power with not much lag starting from 3500 RPM. Yes, you have to keep a lower gear to keep high the RPM, but it was very pleasant to drive also there. We did the old "official pre delivery tour" Maranelllo - Pozza - Serramazzoni - Maranello, once the stantard road test for every single new Ferrari: a strong emotion!

    ciao

Thank you, Benny , for asking about it ...

First: No, I didn't solve the problem yet.

The wiring inside the roof tunnel looks like new, perfect, see picture.
The connector (near the rear window) is dead, but all the fuses are OK.
So I looked further into the fusebox ... and ... found a dead wiring connector coming out of the A pillar , see picture.
Only problem is now: WHERE to connect that connector ? There is no unmounted connector to put it in.

Could you, Benny and Alberto, please take a look behind the dashboard plate to tell me, WHERE to connect it ? It has to be at the right fusebox anywhere. Thank you !

The connector fitted behind the door-switch (behind the plate at the A-Pillar) on passengers door. Now the light is running by opening the doors perfectly.

    Next issue ...

The climate-compressor has a problem: The switch of the electromagnetic clutch is dead. At that point, the rearwheel arch, the timing plates and so on are disassembled, so there will be a service with timing belt and pulley change, water pump revision and so on...
