"This is a rare chance to own a ferrari replica. If you want attention while you drive this is the car for you! Turns heads like nothing I've even driven". I'll bet it does.

That thing has been for sale forever and a day..The kit was based on a toyota celica and a company in the mid 80's were making them..It originally was called a Ferrino..but Ferrari stepped in and they were later called Cerrino...another fine Celica destroyed..

This statement would be still valid if he's never driven before. Which I'd hope would be the case.

...and he's not saying which direction the heads turn. I'd posit they turn away.

I owned one for a year back around 1979. It was actually a fun little car! I had
a lot of good times, until the engine blew up and I had to have a 100 mile tow home

They really should have LEFT it being a Celica - now I'm all nostalgic :)

('75 in photo - but very little difference in the '74)

OMG, you have to be kidding!!??!! That thing on Ebay does not even remotely resemble a Ferrari. What an embarassment!! I'm bet head do turn, and the people looking say "What the F#CK is THAT??!!!" Oh well, too bizarre for words.

Dad had a '76 Celica then when the '78 came out with the "look of the future" shape we had to get it too. Drove an '86 GTS with the 16V engine in college.

    loved everyone of those cars.

If nothing else this thread has allowed me to reminisce being in my high school buddy's Celica listening to Roundabout. :):)

Although it looks like a crossing of the Celica, a 308 and a GT4,

    No belt changes!

I would drive it to C&C events for giggles. I'd have to break out my SF hat for that event.

Very funny mate! My second car was a Celica and it looked better than this thing. Can't believe it is being pitched as a Ferrari replica! I agree with the other posts that it would sell more if it was an original Celica!

As much as I'd rather contract leprosy than be seen driving such an abomination, if it had decent wheels I might be able to stomach it for a tad longer.

    Those cheviot wheels are disgusting!

Well lets see... those Ferrrari nose badges are pretty expensive, and the shields are likely re-useable. I am sure the wheels would make pretty good frying pans. Its not completely worthless....
