Did a search and didn't find the answer. Looking for a tool kit for my 1997 spider is there any difference with the spider kit vs gtb or gts?

Compare them in the parts books at Ricambi - I think there's something extra to crank the roof if it fails

The tool kits are the same. The spider has some extra tools by the hand brake for the top.

This is my understanding as well. There should be a little tool kit next to the hand brake, but I don't think any difference in the regular/main tool kit.

The tool kits are the same for spider and GTB, GTS but there are different style kits depending on whether the tire inflation bottle is stored in the kit or separately. As stated, later spiders had a separate tool kit for manually lowering the top. Early spiders did not have that extra kit.

I have a "94" Spider and as far as I know the Canadian car (regular seat belts) has a detachable roof handle that stores by the hand brake (with a strap and pin) my friend has a "94" US model (with mouse seat belts) have a permanent handle on either side of the roof extension.

On another note, does anyone know when they will reproduce the 2.7M CAT ECU?

Are you referring to s 348 or 355?

The 2.7 355s use the same SDECU as the 5.0 355s. 348 2.7s uses a different one. I am currently looking at the possibility of using the 355 units in 348s.

There are a couple other threads in this topic.
