    i was referred to Lucas Auto Care, in Cedar Park, as a place to take my Porsche (2001 911 Carrera C4 Cabriolet) and my Ferrari (1994 Ferrari 348 Spyder) for servicing if I was looking for a good, reputable non-factory shop for servicing.

    i believe their roots are originally from Houston and from what i have seen online they seem to be established there.

    can anyone tell me, good or bad, if this place is worth taking my cars to, and if their prices (i would assume less) are worth taking to them vs. another reputable independent shop vs. the local dealership?

    im not worried about voiding any factory warranties as my cars are out of warranty i would assume (1994 and 2001).

    thanks. new owner to both of them so i would like to find a good reputable independent garage in Austin that could ideally work on both of my cars.

    I'm from Round Rock near Cedar Park and I've never heard of the shop.

    I would take the Ferrari to Moorespeed. I don't know if they would work on the Porsche or not, you'd have to talk to them and see if they can do what you want done.

    Moorespeed does Ferrari work as well....top notch.

    They took a 250SWB to Goodwood, and won honors.....I use them when in town there.

    That is the owner's 308GTB on that shot, along with a well known Challenge driver's 355 in for service (she has, or did own, a 512BB also)

    I've never used Moorespeed, but if I was in Austin I wouldn't hesitate. They have a great reputation.

    I used Moorespeed for my 348 major last year and couldn't be happier. Just call up Moorespeed and talk to David firrst to get a feel if you're trying to feel them out.

    Lucas has my Porsche 911 right now if it goes right then ill trust them to work on the 355 I picked up today
