So you're easing along in traffic and you see a stop light up ahead. It turns yellow so you lift off the throttle and coast into the queue at the light. Luckily, there is only one car in front if you, Buick, of some name that even a real car guy doesn't care to learn.

You're slowing down knowing its a 2 minute light, coasting in, fiddling with the iPod now that you are in "Attention Mode 2 Out Of 10".

Suddenly you look up and realize you are just about to rear end the geriatric in the m*****r-F******g Buick BECAUSE HE DECIDED TO STOP 4 CAR LENGTHS BEFORE THE LIGHT.

My Lord, this is virtually impossible to guard against, as it happens about every 4 years after you have forgotten about this "old-person-I'm-compensating-for-being-an-incompetent-driver-be-being -pathetically-cautious" maneuver.

    I. Hate. Buicks.

Nah, wouldn't have been your fault...

"Yeah officer, I was pulling in behind this buick. All of a sudden his reverse lights go on, and he slams into me!!! What the hell is going on with these old folks. Betcha he can't pass a mini-mental status exam-probably alzheimers.

I'm a doc, can diagnose these things from one car away. You better revoke his license just to be sure..."

I hate Buicks too. A few years ago my dad bought a relatives 1995 LeSabre or Century (can't remember) with 28,000 miles to drive to work. I hate that thing. Come to think about it, reinerated the dislike I have for fwd cars. I love driving it in the rain though. Good times...:D

Yeah, that, and people in front of you in the right-turn lane, they stare and stare and stare at oncoming traffic, then they take the foot off the brakes, look back forward, go precisely 3 feet - and hit the brakes AGAIN !
That's almost a daily occurrence now.

I drive a buick...I dont drive like that.

Honestly, any car make will do **** like that. I find Blondes driving BMW 3-series the worst for that though.
