Well, I began receiving emails about 10 days ago from the Ferrari factory with pictures of my new f12. The first two came 2 days apart and then nothing until I found the final picture myself when I logged onto the Ferrari site two nights ago. I received an email from my dealership yesterday that it was put on a boat and is headed to the States. I also thought when looking closely at the final picture that someone is sitting in the drivers seat with a Ferrari jacket on. Can't wait!!!

Just think, if you paid for air freight you would be driving her next week :). Beautiful car! Take a camera with you when you pick her up and have someone else shoot the photos when you first start her up and get that HUGE smile.

Thanks! It's grigio silverstone with sabbia interior (upper dash is black). The red in the front seat looks to me like a Ferrari jacket of someone sitting in the car.

The red inside is the Ferrari Seat cover they use to protect the seats.

    Congratulations!

Airfreight pricing can range from something like 6-9k I think.

It can save a lot of the transport time.

did they send you the pics after the car shipped, what was the timing on the photos? The reason I ask is my F12 was a February build and I am so anxious for some pics I cannot stand it anymore? I check the MY FERRARI section of the website twice a day...

I started receiving pictures 11 days ago. The first two were only a day apart. I was anxiously waiting for more but never received another email from the factory. I found the last picture when I logged onto the Ferrari website last Friday night. The next day my dealership emailed me and said the car was done and was already on a boat. I'm not sure exactly when the photos were taken or how long it was from completion to being put on the boat. When I was told last fall that I was given the build slot, it was supposed to be built in March so I wasn't expecting it to be started in February.

Congrats beutiful spec, I just picked my new F12 up yesterday and the paint quality was abysmal(16keuro paint option). Fortunately I know a good local detailer who will spend all week on it getting it corrected.

I'm on my fourth new Ferrari, every one the paint was OK but the finish was crap. One California had a large buffer mark on the rear deck lid where they set the buffer down for a while. Esoteric Auto Detail in Columbus, Ohio and Detailing, Training, and Product Sales. | Esoteric Detail | Esoteric Car Care fixed them all up perfectly. My brand new FF is there today getting tidied up. Look at the beginning of this YouTube video at how bad a LaFerrari comes from the factory. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoNc-7uollE

Ferrari knows of these paint issues but amazes me how they do nothing about it. My dealer just got in one of only 6 Sergio's. Paint work just as bad. Shameful

I emailed Todd at Esoteric about a month ago to see about scheduling my f12 for paint correction and wrapping the front/hood.

Rick did you get a new silver FF to replace the Silverstone example? I seem to remember Todd restoring the metal footrest in the gray car some time ago so it looked new again plus some other detailing work of course on the car to...

Wrap the windshield with something like Clearplex. Because of the aerodynamic profile these cars have many high impact zones even in the rear.
