Took delivery today of my Pozzi Blue 2013 California 30 HS. Ferrari Approved from a dealer in Miami. Unfortunately, still waiting on some RaceDeck and garage storage items to be delivered, so the garage isn't quite done in time, but it will get there. Special thanks to Mike Berman for helping me find the right person to do my PPI and for all his advice. Have taken it out a couple times and it roars, though lots of traffic on a busy labor day weekend. If anyone knows any good driving roads in the Scotch Plains/Cranford/Watchung area, please PM me. Still, an order of magnitude more visceral than my GranTurismo and I think it's going to be a lot of fun. Now for the long list of to-dos. Figure out what kind of files I can add to the stereo. Local FM radio here is rough when I can't pull in WFUV. Ordered a SmartTop controller, carbon fiber shift paddles and some LED puddle lights. Will rewire the tail lights to use the uppers as brake lights. Then to take it for a full PPF. Have to replace the stereo/nav unit. Vacillating between a Chinese android unit (shockingly competent for the money if my Maserati experience is indicative) or a Sony (low glare screen). Need a radar detector/laser shifter install and keyless start. Probably going to add a 360-degree parking camera with the nav. Probably replace the mirror with a HomeLink unity. Considering the Italian flag bar on the tail over the logo to add some visual interest to the back view. Pondering the center console. I can't believe no one sells a better-designed version. I'd pay good money for one with a good cupholder. So much wasted space and I like to go on long drives.... That should at least keep me busy through the winter. Will post more as things develop. The last picture is my son's ride. He wanted to be represented. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice Cali spec with the top part of the dash black, the diamond stitching and black Daytona inserts! Your modification list looks a lot like what I am planning to do on my Cali. May I suggest perhaps a floating stereo/nav unit like the Pioneer Halo devices (https://www.pioneer-car.eu/eur/products/sph-evo950dab), it's what I am researching right now at least.
Very nice! Are the wheel, dashboard and seat inserts dark blue or black? I loved my 2013 Cali 30. The console in the Cali T is a little bit better with a cup holder but not sure if it would fit the earlier car. I have a set of factory carbon shift paddles in terrific condition if anyone is looking. They are off a 2015 California T but I don't think the wheel was changed in between models.
Thank you all so much! The upper dash, seat inserts and wheel are dark, dark blue. I really like it. I was definitely planning on a floating screen for the navigation unit. I'm looking at the one below but haven't seen anyone post about them. I just ordered CF paddles from Amazon but could cancel them. I'll send you a PM. Weekend update! Really fun to drive. Took my wife and son up to Berkeley Heights through Watchung reservation for lunch. Both love it. First addition in the bag. Ferrari logo puddle lights! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice update! Where did you get them from? Would definitely consider them if I can get them over in The Netherlands.
