    Sounds fair. When I was in Germany the word on the street was that if you ran from the cops you'd get a nightstick beating when they got you.

    Actually, I wouldn't be surprised to hear they threw him out the window. I wouldn't have been surprised if they would have shot him while restraining him - it would be easy to justify if he didn't drop the gun immediately.
