I found some F40 in-car footage from Friday's track event on YouTube; here's the link: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbKzT4eMj9c[/ame]

Can't wait to see the rest.

Thank you Moorespeed for being there when we needed you. This is the return rally back to Austin. Reid Scott and I were the last cars out and came across this 308 about half an hour into the trip.

That was Moorespeed's very first Ferrari customer way back in the days. He's had that car forever!

Doug said that he bought his 308 in 1987. When did David Moore start turning wrenches in Austin? I thought that he was in Dallas with his uncle at Norwoods back then.

David started his first shop in Austin in 1991 and then opened Moorespeed in 1993, if my memory serves me correctly. Doug was his first Ferrari customer. I'm not referring to when he worked at Norwoods.

Nice pics! I'm assuming that's SW's challenge car and Wes' F40?

    TexasMike,

Great Pics! Sorry I missed you while at the track. Here are some pics I took while I was there. I have video I need to upload soon. Pics are from iPhone 4.

The track is a 1.8-mile, 11-turn asphalt road course. The course is 36-feet wide with over 150 feet of elevation changes and a challenging mix of on and off-camber turns, including the 80-foot rise and drop of Santa Rita (Turn 4, named after the patron saint of the impossible task).

We had three 15 min. run sessions with a professional driver instructing us on braking, turning and control. This is the most fun I have every had with any car! After my sessions were done my instructor Frank took me for a few laps in his 2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale and OMG! FAST!!! I was feeling the G’s in the turns and breaking points and the speed just kept coming and coming! This guy was Awesome! The track was bumpy but my 355F1 got a serious work out.

    Ciao,

    SRR
