Don't think he was a member but most of the San Antonio group knew him, he had quite the lifestyle. John - Guess you were wrong about only doing a couple years, there is no early release from Club Fed.
I went to Alamo Heights High School in '81 - '84. He hung out with some of our crowd there, but went to a different school. I remember him, but did not specifically hang out with the guy. He also dated a girl I knew in SA and she was good friends with me and my family. This is just one example of many where people are ripping off tax payer money.
another article http://m.apnews.com/ap/db_7732/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=4AtdFZQd "Of the 14 cars Parker acquired, the government is keeping his Hummer and the rest were leased, sold or registered to relatives or others. Of his four homes, the government is seizing only the Olmos Park mansion on East Wildwood Drive because the others have been sold or leased." so what happened to all the cars?? im pretty sure there was more than a hummer at the time he got arrested
Cash, cars, murder...that story has it all, man......maybe he can sell movie rights??? That girl's name sounds familiar......
We have a guy here, Tom Petters, who built up a multi-billion dollar empire that included: Sun Country Airlines, Polaroid, Fingerhut and a number of others. He's in jail now, four of his "business associates" have plead guilty and are preparing to testify that they raked in several billion $$$ with an elaborate Ponzi scheme. He was such a pillar of the community and benefactor of many charities many of which are apparent victims now of Petter's greed. The fraud involved persuading investors to participate in a business that would purchase small items from suppliers in bulk and wholesale them to places like Costco and Sam's Club. Nothing apparently was ever bought or sold but paperwork was generated and contacts were involved at the various companies to make it seem legit.
They carried the "paper trail" away by the truckload. I can't imagine how they ever thought they would get away with it.
I know this thread is over 8 years old but is it possible that I can be pointed in the direction of a picture of Andrew parker? Thank you in advance.
Crazy to think that his sentence is about to be up. I grew up down the street from his mansion in Olmos Park and remember idolizing his car collection. He was always cruising around Alamo Heights in his Ferraris at super random hours like he never actually went to work ever. It all made sense when he was finally arrested.
