Announcing: 308's in 2008 Event!

OK, I'm not surprised, but I *am* disappointed. My tire damage claim has been officially DENIED by Harrah's and their outside agency, CCMSI. It's probably the standard practice to just deny any claim initially until/unless the customer escalates it.

Did we have ANY attorneys attend this event?

 

Mike, Just as you suspect unless their surviellance camera captures a Slot machine tipping over on your head with 3000 witness they are going to deny any claim to see if it will just go away. Right now you are just a name on a piece of paper. I would suggest making personal contact with someone in the PR department who will then get you in touch with a human being in the claims department. Get names of everyone you talk to and write it down. Keep calling and asking for them by name. Be tactful and not threatening and they will get the message "this guy's not going to just go away". If you develop a relationship with someone in the PR and Claims, you will be way ahead of the guy who raises hell and threatens with lawyers. A lawsuit is no big deal to them. Just my 2cents.

 

The person who books the group events needs to know about this - they certainly can't think that if Harrahs ignores something like this that was their ressponsibility, that we'd be eager to come back there. I'm sure that person would have a say in this associated with "goodwill" if nothing else.

CCMSI written statement dated 10/30: ""CCMSI is the third party administrator for Harrah's Tunica. We have now completed our inventigation in connection with the above referenced claim and based upon careful review of the facts presented to us, we do not believe that Harrah's Tunica was negligent in this matter. Therefore, while we sympathize with your situation, we must respectuflly deny any and all liability for this incident on behalf of Harray's Tunica." (signed by Adam Reeser, CCMSI Claim Representative)

What I was requesting was merely reimbursement for the $66.99 that it cost me to get all those holes repaired so I could get home since they didn't have my tire size in stock locally there, and then the cost of replacement of the two tires.

 

You guys have to remember that ALL INSURANCE COMPANIES LIE!!!

ALL of them ALL the time. That is a simple fact.

This isn't over if you don't want it to be. That is their first natural move...

I have just spoken with an organization in the Biloxi area asking what charitable events they have coming up this year. I'll keep you posted as to what and when they have to offer.

A question: why worry about a charity? Can't we just get together and enjoy the cars?

 

Can do that, thought I would explore all the avenues. Thought the group may want to take terminally ill kids for a ride in a Ferrari, maybe take their picture too.

I looked in the Biloxi charity web site and didn't see one, I suspect we would have to carivan through the street to locate that charity, and I am sure when we found them they would love to go for a 'ride'
