Annoying Neighbours

Just look at it from an outsiders perspective and just try and be humble. Taking the smartass or elitist attitude like others do above will do you no good especially if you share a garage with people...

Hooking up a battery tender does look a bit silly on what's seen as the pinnacle of automobiles. People don't understand the charging systems. We only do because we have to.

With mixing tyres - again it's fine if it's front to back and not side to side. You wouldn't do it on an exotic because it wouldn't look right from a visual perspective but it would work and I've done it on nearly all cars I own and with good results. Unless the manufacturer strictly states that it must be run on X tyres then it's fair game to me.

Car washing is another thing all together which I'm not prepared to go into.

 

Jealousy tortures some people, ignore them. I agree, in the UK, it affects way too many people. If I'm being tailgated, or someone tries to race me in some loser cruiser, I have no qualm in putting my foot down and teaching them how slow they really are

Oh yeahhh, well I bought mine a Mazda 2 (well myself and her mum did). She has since swapped it for a 1 series BMW coupe.

I had a local Social Justice Warrior hassle me over owing a Porsche convertible in the 'hood'. I told her I volunteer 10 hours a week at various food banks, read to the local kids (99% minority) at the neighborhood library, and participate in four annual street clean ups-what did she do in her spare time except try and push white guilt on people? No reply.
