What are you guys doing for annual maintenance on your 355's? oil and filters? more? based on mileage or time (or bit of both?)

    Bradan does
    Engine oil/filter
    gearbox oil
    coolant
    brake fluid

Not doing the coolant apparently leads to premature gearbox oil/coolant heat exchanger failure.

I do annual/bi-annual/annual/major- repeat- Religiously- based on time regardless of miles.

I can find/post the work orders for both annual and bi-annual if that would be helpful.

Pretty much as/what you stated - I do the brake fluid on the bi-annuals.

    Cheers :)

Great responses, much appreciated gents. I like the coolant swap addition.

    @Shorn355 - great info!

Here is a list I've also seen for a typical annual on a 355:
    1. Replace Engine Oil and Filters with new gaskets
    2. Replace Brake Fluid
    3. External and Internal Visual Brake Inspection – Pads and Discs
    4. Inspect Air Filters and Replace if Necessary
    5. Inspect Pollen Filters and Replace
    6. Top off Power-Steering fluid and Washer Reservoir to Correct Level
    7. Visual Inspection for any apparent leaks
    8. Check Front and Rear Suspension Components
    9. Visual Inspection of Fasteners and Bushings
    10. Check Tightness of Engine and Transmission Fasteners
    11. Visual Inspection of Wipers and Replace if Necessary

I just swapped them out in my 993 so wasn't sure if the 355 had one or not. Looks like not.

And only change your coolant and brake fluids at the 7 year major? I am not sure that is the best advice for a 355.

Depends on the kind of coolant. Extended life, etc.

if the BMW and Mercedes coolants are rated for 15 years, it surely can make it 7.

my excellent mechanic laughs at the excessive fluid service intervals discussed on here.

Oil and filters (oil air and fuel)

    Brake fluid flush

Check antifreeze PH every 6 months and adjust flush and refilled 2 years

Transmission and gear check and replaced every 2 years (synthetic oil and lube used only)

Complete check of all safety items brakes, steering, suspension, lights etc

Then drive, drive and drive more —- like any good stallion they are happy when they stretch their legs a lot——

I drive it really hard until something breaks, then I take it in open wallet to a trusted mechanic and do everything he recommends.

Glad the invoice screenshots were helpful- Cheers :)

Another place to start/refer to is N6 - N10 in the Ferrari owners manual (available in PDF if you don't have the physical one) since Ferrari designed, engineered and built the car, Ferrari might have some decent insight as to the recommended maintenance schedule.
