    I got an offer from Ball Aerospace today! Woo-hoo! I'm calling to accept tomorrow. I'll probably come out there to start working in late August/early September. Gotta sell the house here and then find one there before I uproot the kids.

    I'll be working literally across the street from Dave Helms shop. How convenient. :D

    This is fantastic! I know it's hard, but tell your kids it will be worth the difficulty of moving and meeting new friends in a new environment. They are going to LOVE Colorado, I guarantee it.

    I know it's pretty sunny in southern AL but you don't know sunshine until you've experienced it a mile closer!

    My oldest, Courtney, is 9. She's a little upset, but she doesn't realize that several of her closest friends from school have moved away this summer. So that will take the sting off a bit once she figures that out. Ethan is 7, and once I said mountain climbing he was sold. River is 4 and doesn't have a clue why we aren't taking our house with us...not even the tree house.

    I'm looking forward to sunshine that isn't accompanied by a sauna. Summer is miserable here and it seems to get worse every year.

    Now comes the fun part: selling a house, buying a house, and a timed move in between. I'll probably end up out there by myself for a while until the house sells. Looking at a start date of late August or early September.

    This will be one of the most stressful times in your life but it will be worth it. I'm sure you will get stretched moving from AL to CO but just grin and bare it.

    I can not overstate the positive benefits of the awesome weather. I'm looking out of my office window and all I see is robin's egg blue skies, turning to cobalt as the day progresses. It looks and feels like I'm a mile closer to SPACE. :D

    Awesome! Congrats!!! Don't feel bad when you get your car here and it feels slow... The altitude sucks the life out of NA cars.

    This is great and will bring the B count back to 4 in the state. There were none in 2001 when I got my first one. I happen to know Helms has a soft spot for Bs.

    Are the other 3 are Sherpa, Furman, Rachid. Hmm....all 3 are great guys and pretty active! I see a trait here! Add Hardtop as a emeritus owner and the hypothesis is confirmed!!

    Thanks everyone. We're really excited. My start date is September 4th, but I'm sure it'll be a little longer before all the dust settles with respect to selling/buying a house and moving kids, furniture and Ferrari.
