Gorgeous color combo -- that shade of metallic is my hands down favorite for a 330.
Bill Well done. The satisfaction of doing most of the work yourself must be great. Congratulations. I hope you have many years of joy as custodian of this piece of automotive history. I love the NoECUs tag. I live in Melbourne Australia and we have a group of people who drive old Ferrari and we have a rule that cars must have webers, no ECUs allowed. We are accused of being snobs but guys who like old cars tend to be a different breed to the modern car crowd. Enjoy the ride. A beautiful car. The colour combo really suits the car. John

Uh-oh. The bumpers on the ends of the sunvisor rods are incorrect. They should be white rather than black rubber, with squared-off ends. Sorry, Bill. A quarter century after being abused by dealership parts managers for asking whether they had any new ones in stock, I still feel the pain. Otherwise, the car has never looked better. Don't think I ever would have sold if it had previously been painted that blue, it's so perfect for the car. Don
Bill PM me there is a 50 cent fix to Don's judging deduction, and let me add my congratulations, your car is magnificent! M
Not quite right, I'm afraid. Nylon is much too hard. The originals were soft white rubber, and IIRC the outside diameter increased slightly towards the square-cut end. Again IIRC, the ends had several concentric circular ribs. By the time I acquired the car it was eighteen years old, and the rubber had turned gummy in some places and brittle in others. Obviously I remain deeply scarred from not having been able to maintain this aspect of originality. I still have the sets of vacuum line plugs from which I obtained temporary substitutes. G,day fellow 330 owners/admirers,I have a small problem with my black interiored 330GT. On the F Nat rally this year the right hand portion of the right hand seat wore through. I am seeking a patinated piece of leather to replace it as the rest of the leather is OK.As the car interior is totally original I don,t want to replace with new,is there somone out there with a spare. As my car is RHD I,m hoping there may be someone who has kept their old leather from a LHD resto. If so I,d be keen to have them contact me.Thanx in anticipation, Simon.BTW Chinese Eyes rock!!
Don, Kerry, Michael - Michael had a great idea for sun visor bumpers - here's the result. Bill Image Unavailable, Please Login
Texas Mike In the picture of you car on the trailer is that your wife standing there checking out 'the other woman'? Mine always does that.....then asks who do you love more?
Although different from the original rubber they're not bad at all. I wonder whether there is some way to tone down the white - the originals were about the same shade as the headliner. I really miss that headliner. Best looking in any car I know. And Bill, if you're finished using those vacuum line plugs . . .
