    Bruce, one of the things that I do occassionally is to help "Founders" sell their businesses. In every case that I can think of, the former owner ended up having more fun and making a whole lot more money AFTER they sold the bidness. Having some working capital and not having to carry that monkey on their back opens multiple doors that no one even knew existed. Their only regret is not pulling the trigger sooner.

    So don't look back, my friend. A business is a living breathing thing. There is no reason why a specific business must stay within a given family group. If someone outside the family can run the business better, more power to them. Cut a deal and move on. Life is a whole lot more fun looking out the front windshield than the rear view mirror.

    My prediction? In ten years, you'll own so many Ferraris that you'll need to build a museum! :)

    AS OF MAR 1 2005, ENERGIZER IS DIMINISHING THEIR INDUSTRIAL DISTRIBS BY 30%...CUTTING OUT ABOUT 75 DISTRIBUTORS IN THE USAM THUS ADDING THEM TO THE BIGGER DISTRIBUTORS IN THE COUNTRY..

    I WILL PROBABLY GET ABOUT 50% OF THE OVERKILL, THUS OBTAINING MORE CLIENTS.....
