As with many other 456 owners, I thought the stock tire/wheel combination
was a bit lacking on our '01 mgt. I also thought that the lower cladding
being painted black dated the car. I had the front and rear bumper covers
and lower rockers sprayed silver and installed some 19/20 GFG's (sorry, I
hadn't installed the center caps yet). Anyway, I'm sure the purists will
bash it, but I am much happer with the look.

    Best regards,

    Ben

Looks great! Also good to see the six-speed! Too many Auto 456s out there.

I like it, you have addressed the weaknesses of that car, looks really good.

I've been looking at 456's for some time now and haven't been able to put my finger on exactly what I didn't like about them. You hit the nail right on the head with your mods...looks great! Please post a side-by-side before and after if you get the chance...thanks!

Ben, I realize that this is your first attempt at modifying a car but don't be so hard on yourself. Yes, there are those on this board that may bash you playing with perfection but I for one would like to say thanks. Thanks for taking the only Ferrari that I really didn't care for and making it totally lustful. Looks great! That is a great color and really makes me miss my 355 in GT.

By the way, brakes? I have seen you drive on the road and track and didn't think you knew how to use those. Hell with the brakes, I say head to Mizu and throw a 18psi kit and that thing.
