My original Ferrari battery died despite using a maintainer.

Only one Interstate dealer here in Calgary and he was closed today.

I measured it up and went to Costco and low and behold , perfect fit and 730cca.

    Kirkland H6

3 yr full replacement warranty. Pro rated after that.

    $117 CDN. That's about $50 US these days :)....

Looks like it fits all three of them. At least the FIAMM L3 680 does. Looks like a rebadged Interstate, but that is a great price.

Have anyone measured the temperature inside the engine compartment? I mean, battery is at the absolut hottest location in the engine compartment and for extended periods of city traffic during hot summer days, the battery must be very very hot. I haven’t had an issue despite the heat, but I wonder if maybe the heat a used the batteries to get weak quicker? I have never seen a battery in a 456/550 that last more than a couple of years. But on some other cars, they can last a very long time! What about voltage? Will the heat make the voltage drop? I know the generator is what makes the charge voltage, but normally, a cold battery (nickel cadmium) gives better power than a hot one. Many cars have moved their batteries to the trunk. I feel this is a better place. Any thoughts?

Batteries in 575s last much longer than a couple of years, and the battery is in the same location. Mine last at least 5 years each.

The battery in my 550 (a Bosch AGM) has been in there for 9 years (when not on the road, car is connected to a professional battery tender). I did replace it last winter as a precaution, but there still were no signs of weakness.

    Hello

Any good quality 096 battery will be fine.

The temperature under the bonnet does effect the life and in the summer months I used a tiny 063 with 420amps wrapped In a battery jacket.
