    What utter nonsense. What's the point of buying up Cosworth to create an alternate F1 if by doing that you don't get Ferrari and other manufacturers?

    Cosworth engines at best could be used for F3000, but never for F1. F1 is now all about the big car manufacturers who of course want to show their stuff. F1 might be looking at standardized monocoques IRL style, but not at standardized engines.

    Doesn't Cosworth supply the engines to all of CART? CART's future?

    From CART website:
    Champ Cars use Ford engines prepared and tuned by Cosworth. These tiny engines are 2.65-liter overhead-cam turbocharged V-8s producing approximately 750 horsepower, running on methanol fuel.
