Tell me once where I said"every" in fact I have specifically not said every, just most. Probably the pose owner contingent in a scud or 360 is much less because it is a more raw less nancified car regardless of the gearbox, it might still be more fun with a stick though.

I think there are more than a few scud owners who wished for a stick on this site.

there are still a number of scud and cs owners who bought them as jewelry, hence the number of pristine low mileage ones that have according to the sellers never been tracked.

I have also stated that paddles may work all out on the track, but make less than 10/10ths less of an experience so they may well be the thing for a scud. Lastly read the 430 section and see how many scud owners want their 360 back because its more raw.

I think you misunderstand. What I object to is the dumbing down of the whole driving experience and the subsequent dilution of the car brain interaction. A paddle shift is but one
Symptom of this, in some cars paddle may even be more appropriate, but its not the be all and end all, nor is paddle the only or inevitable future.

Some of us drive for the pure man machine pleasure and interface, its not just how fast you go, but how you go fast. For others it's all about how fast their car goes on paper, how it looks, how much it costs and what it represents.

And for others it's various combinations of the above. I think Ferrari might do well to cater to the more hard core of us, they may find more credibility and durability for thir brand over the long term. Meanwhile between the dealer experience, negative stigma and lack of choice many of us have taken our custom elsewhere.

I know the retort that Ferrari sells everyone anyway.
