I missed the original detailing seminar in the east bay....
I recall seeing in the post that another one would be staged soon.
Summer car shows are here, and I can bring some donuts if one of the experts puts something together. Perhaps on the peninsula this time?

yes i promised a detailing seminar sometime in late june, this way anyone going to the concorso in august would have thier ferrari looking it's best. the last seminar was held at brian crall's shop in san ramon, there were two reasons for this, one brian and i work together on occasion also i live in pleasanton, i am open to holding a seminar in the pennisula i would just need an appropriate facility, indoors, good light conditions, room ,etc.... everyone interested chime in on this thread, if parris at fmosv in redwood city reads this thread ,possibly the seminar could be held there?. this time i would like to take a car and demonstrate the steps i use. the seminar would have to be in june , because i will be busy in july , august getting cars ready for the concorso. bob willis auto concierge auto detailing pleasanton ca (925) 600-0229

I am picking up my car from there today, so I can always ask. If not, I am sure Johannes would volunteer his place in San Mateo.

for those of you that missed the last seminar , this is your chance to pick up the tricks of the trade. at my next seminar i will go more in depth on washing ,clay, tree sap removal, and what products really work, not the hyperbole out there currently. the seminar is free, and anyone who has had their car detailed by me knows this info is invaluable. everyone interested post on this thread. bob willis auto concierge

    Dear Bob,
I attended the last seminar you put on at Brian Crall's shop.
Next time why not start with a car that is not perfectly clean? I enjoyed it very much.

winston, if i detail a car that is not in good shape who is going to pay?? all kidding aside the demonsration vehicle i use if it needs more than a clay, wax etc... i would need to machine buff the car, this typically can take hours, i am just covering the basics plus a little more this time, it took me fifteen years to learn the nuances of machine buffing , wet sanding etc.....nobody can learn this in one afternoon. Bob,
Are you looking for a car to detail? I'd offer up mine - its in reasonable shape but not stellar. I just bought it and got it shipped from New Orleans. I'd love to go to your seminar even if you don't use my car. When is it going to be?

I think that FMoSV are currently inundated with ideas about joint events. I did talk to the proprietor of Dino Motors and he said he could lend his space for the event, weekend, or otherwise. He is a member of the FCA club, and an all around funny guy. He works on Ferraris and Lambos. Give him a buzz before he leaves for the Montreal Grand Prix...
