I saw a video on line today of a Ferrari owner who got into an argument with an internet pranker. I am not attempting to justify what the pranker did but good lord the reaction of the ferrari owner. Well take a look at it and judge for yourself. Below is what is on the net.

"A high end sports car owner who parks in handicap spots illegally already has an unfair sense of entitlement bordering on deranged. Messing with his ride will only make it worse.

In the video above, semi-professional internet pranker Roman Atwood sees a Ferrari parked in a handicap spot in a largely empty lot with no handicap pass or license plates.

So to teach the owner a lesson Atwood uses a water bottle to mimic him urinating on the sports car. The owner, see Atwood, then displays his physical soundness as he loses it and grabs Atwood, pushing him almost to the ground and screaming.

When Atwood accuses him of illegally parking in a handicap spot the guy yells "It doesn't matter it's a Ferarri!" all while pushing and hitting Atwood. Even after he shows the driver the water bottle and explains how it's all a prank he keeps coming after Atwood, at one point yelling "I can buy your whole family!"

He sounds like a nice guy."

They both sound like complete pieces of crap. The pranker is just asking for what he got though. I see people parked in handicap spots all the time in all kinds of vehicles. You know what I do? Let parking enforcement take care of it. People who do that are all Dbags no matter what they drive.

Not sure where this happened and not excusing the car owner's behavior,

    But in the legal sense-

    1. A handicap parking violation is not enforceable by a citizen and is at most punishable by a fine.

    2. Vandalism/criminal mischief is enforceable by a citizen in most states (defense of property), and use of force to defend property is legal. It matters not if the vehicle was legally or illegally parked.

Did the prankster deserve what he got? Yes.

But there is a difference with what you can do and what you should do.

Maybe next time the F-car owner won't park in a handicap space.

Having read all of this. I will throw it out there that sometimes valets will park it up front in the HC spot. I've also had restaurant managers ask us to put the Ferraris there to draw business because generally they are right in front the the business.
Although it sounds like this guy went off, don't assume that every time you see a Ferrari in the front it's just some dick who thinks they can do anything they want.

    Here is the video

While I agree the 360 owner was an ***** it doesn't give the prankster the right to do what he did.
The 360 owner is lucky the guy didn't punch him after being pushed.

The whole thing looked faked. If real the Ferrari owner is a ***** and the prankster guy an even bigger *****. Looks like the kind of thing the occupy Wall St. crowd would find funny.

Seems like a whole lot of people are not very aware. There is NO way that is a real encounter, completely staged & fake. Even though it was staged the Ferrari owner had every right to defend/protect his property.

Maybe the video is a fake, I dont know. I find it hard to believe that the owner of the Ferrari would allow himself to be portrayed in such a negative fashion. The Ferrari owner is not defending his property once the prankster stops putting water on it. Also a question as to whether his conduct would be justified as legal defense of his property at any time because the prankster stops and the Ferrari owner learns it is water. After that point it is no longer defense of property but becomes vengance and an assault and is not legally defensable.

The Ferrari owner is lucky that the prankster has no martial arts training because if he did the Ferrari owner would be either face down on the pavement or on his back looking up at the sky and wondering what happened.

I still think this portrays Ferrari owners in a negative light although it is just the action of one person.

If I saw what looked like a dude peeing on my Ferrari I probably would have king hit him from behind as soon as I got near enough to take a swing at him. Just would have 'seen red' so to speak. Hit first chat about morality later :) :) !!

Small point to make, not that I'm justifying it - the car park seems totally empty. Its not as if he is denying any disabled person a decent spot as such !?!?

And the kind of thing they would believe is real. So staged and fake it just makes the "pranker" look like even more of a idiot.

You should be embarrassed for yourself if you think that's real.

Take a few minutes, bow your head and be embarrassed for your self..............

This thread was put on General forums by someone else and you should take a look at the comments that are being posted there. I am still not embarassed but I really dont want to turn this into a personal thing. I just posted it and thought it would be of interest to the members. So I am going to leave it at that.

My wife was on crutches after a foot surgery and she had a temp tag, I wouldn't use the HC spots even with the tag for fear of vandalism by someone, what does that say about my perception of the non-exotic owner? Two way street.
