This is what the link says. I don't know if it's true or not, but it makes for a great Internet story. One man located in Kansas City (Mission Hills/Prairie Village) waited 2 years for this $200,000 car. That really, really, really sucks. Image Unavailable, Please Login
A Florida man ..... 2006 Heritage Edition GT, bought for $704,000 crashed https://www.roadandtrack.com/news/a39878521/florida-ford-gt-owner-crashes-because-hes-unfamiliar-with-manual-transmission/ https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10225161417555265&set=pb.1014758391.-2207520000..&type=3 Image Unavailable, Please Login .
^^^ Especially as they get into their mid-teens... If it's 16 years between Ford GT wrecks, then the world's supply of 2005-2006 GT's is safe.
I understand the human desire to rubberneck but I don't get the need to dox a guy and crawl up his ass about the details. Why do we need his full name and details about his insurance policy? R&T is turning into Jalopnik.
It’s more about the Goodyears for a car without any of the Nannie’s…..particularly gunning it out of a turn. I had a few scares when I first bought my car and changed over to Bridgestones for peace of mind. Glad there were no injuries.
Not the pole comment again.......that derailed the last GT-40 crash thread...... I do agree the human mind locks onto to an object and the hands and feet do everything they can to hit it dead center.
Ugh... human stupidity at its best. A really inappropriate comment here, but if someone knows he/she are going to be idiots, they should just get a $60k mustang gt and wrap it around a pole, instead of a future classic piece of art like the GT. Heck, they can have 4 spares in the garage to wreck all they want...just saying
Its an 'accident' when a 90 year old t bones your car when you are going on a green light, or a deer jumps out in front of you on a rural road (happened to me). Its an 'accident waiting to happen' when the right foot his out of control and the hands do not have the skill to deal with it.
Another point...when was the last time you hit a pole? If you do not know how to roller blade, and we put some on you on a hill, that is an 'accident waiting to happen' LOL!
