    It's funny that the royal family would go to williams for the first floppy paddle shift on a road car being that Ferrari invented the whole idea in the first place. Then again if anyone remembers how many times the gearbox on Mansell's car blew up in those years i don't blame them for going to williams.

    All those dollars and no sense! He could buy any car in the world and he buys Bentley station wagons and four door Ferrari's. Seriously he has one of the most tasteless and pointless collections in the world. Literally thousands cars yet no 250 GTO or Cali Spider, etc, just twelve identical cars in different colors. And the worst part is he only owns them because his family thought it would be cool. He doesn't even drive them, hell he isn't even a car guy. Simply a man with too much money.

    Go and look through the whole Bruinei thread either here or on *************. You'll find he owns hundreds of unique cars that the automotive world would go gaga for. The only downside is that with a collection allegedly reaching >5000 cars they stand around decaying.

    As to the article - I'm sure too it was inspired by the great work of basman007 and his amazing persistence. I too at one time tried to gather as much info on the collection as I could find, by my archive came out to be nowhere near as large as basman007's. They should have credited him for sure. I as hell surely am thankful ;)

    they link to my profile page on the ************* forum...
    they have pics on their page I pshopped...
    they have pics on their page I put on the internet for the first time...

    I didn't take those pictures or anything, but seeing as I spent too much time on this 'project' (gathering pics and info) they could have mentioned the threads on SCN and Fchat and perhaps the important contributors...

    {takes deep breath... fastens zipper on flame suit... gets kernals of popcorn ready for when the fire starts up... ready}

    I've looked through his collection many times and i can honestly say im not empressed with 99% of his car. Granted he has a few really cool cars it really doesn't matter because they are blocked in by 13 S500s in different colors of the rainbow. This is a man who doesn't measure a cars greatness by performance, rawness, or simply good looks. No he measures it by the fact that he was able to get the factory to paint it in a rediculous color for him or make it a one off right hand drive. So what does it matter if he has a couple of McF1s if he doesn't even know what they are capable of.
