    I know we've discussed the third annual mendocino run a bit, but I had some thoughts - why not make this one an overnight trip? Given how long the day turns out to be, we could ease it up a bit (and allow for a more comprehensive / scenic route) if we break it up over two days.

    Thoughts?

    Hey Dan, would love to have you guys up to the "home turf". If its an overniighter I will take you guys on an absolutely killer loop of about 80 miles if anyone is interested. Roads are best after Labor day and the weather too, but if its a summer thing, it would still be great just more traffic and winnibagos traveling along too.
    If its not a Sat. nite we could do a package discount for the group and offer offstreet private parking for at least a dozen cars but the summer gets filled quickly and I would need some lead time to reserve the right units. Keep me posted, John

    If Pete's yosemite drive for Aug 20th doesn't happen, we oculd do it then. Otherwise Labor Day could work nicely.

    Labor day will be a zoo and not much fun on the roads, you might think after Labor day, better weather, better road conditions, but keep me posted.
