    Well, I recently replaced my Razr V3 (black) with a Razr V3i. All of a sudden, I'm traveling a lot more on the weekends and need a smartphone to keep my addresses, calendar, etc. I've got Cingular, and am in no position to change carriers.

    Here's my question: Blackberry Pearl or 8700c? How easy is the Pearl's keyboard to use? I'd much prefer the full qwerty keyboard on the 8700, but then again it is bigger.

    I'll check them out in person over my winter break, but do any of you guys have either of these and can comment on them?

    The keyboard is by far the way to go if you type a lot. It's the price you pay for having email + phone in one device.

    I absolutely love my Blackberry Pearl, the best phone that I have ever had. The only negative i kind of have for it, is the small keyboard. So if your one to type a lot, it will kind of be hard at first to get use to the small keys. The Pearl is awesome, its a great organizing tool, its sleek and the best looking phone out there...but the only problem is the small keys.

    Sorry to revive this thread, i'm getting a new phone next weekend.

    The question is:

    -Blackberry Pearl
    -Samsung BlackJack
    -or Palm 680?

    i have a PPC6700 and love it. :p i had the 700w/wx for a while, and didn't like it as much as the PPC/XV 6700.

    but out of your choices, i'd take the palm.

    I have the Blackjack and I absolutely love it! Its perfect. The other one you should look at is the blackberry pearl, those are real slick little phones.

    The new blackberry is excellent, but I have always been a fan of the Treo. I like hardworking phones.
