Guys, I came across this GT4 while surfing. Spoke to the owner over a couple Emails. He has had the car since Sept. 1999 Gotta love the Boxer paint!!! http://www.cambon.com/approval/index.cfm?pid=149&picid=2651 Username is "308" Password is "GT4" I have no affiliation with this car or its owner. Just passing along a nice GT4 for those who might be looking. JIM
I have seen and driven this car. Mechanically it is very very good, but it needs the interior restored, the interior is VERY worn. The car was painted in the past, or at least partially painted, the engine dropped on the back of the car prior to the current owner purchasing the car. The owner is a GREAT mechanic, he is restoring an old Alfa. He won't tear into the engine but he's restored the HECK out of the rest of the car, including the ENTIRE coolant system (it stays cool! NO HINT of overheating). Major service just done by Dave Helms (6-12 months ago), one of the best Ferrari Mechanics around. When I drove it, the brakes pulled, but I heard he was rebuilding them. He does not have original toolset, but he DOES have original owners manual. He's got the original dino wheels and the 5 star wheels. If you search for Blue GT4, you should find the thread I started about this car and condition, but this was PRIOR to the major and brake work. The owner is a GREAT guy. BTW, I've always regretted not buying it then ............. But FChatters were not every positive at that time. I think he's done alot to the car since then. James in Denver
Sooooo, Maybe it's time to join the GT4 ranks! I wondered if this was the local car you were talking about way back when! JIM
