    I have been seeing threads on bare metal repaints and was wondering if everyone is going with Clear Coat paint jobs instead of the old single stage ones. Also is anyone going with the new water based paints. And last is anyone going with a repaint without a total strip and removal of the glass , doors , etc. Just wondering.

    i just repainted my car did not strip it to bare metal no need to factory finish is fine to paint over did dismantle the car and did base clear its 2009 why paint w stonage tech looks great and will last longer i have an 89 328 and also put a 288 front end on it and closed in the rear bumper will put pics on
