Are you guys sick of me yet?

On the 92 distributor cap, I have macavelli written on it so I assume it's the oem cap. I was told not to trust the numbers on the cap of where the plugs go. I looked for a diagram showing the where the wires go, but have not found one yet..does anyone know what order the wires go in on the cap?

    I bet Frank knows!! LOL!

With the cap in proper position:
There is nothing at the 12:00 o'clock position, slightly to the right (clockwise) at around the 1:00 begin as follows:
    12
    4
    9
    2
    11
    6
    7
    3
    10
    5
    8
    1 (finishes at the 11:00 o'clock position)

BTW - The cap can be replaced with a NAPA Jag V12 cap...

adam, we might need to ask rob for an entire lambor technical section just for you.... :)

ps: while i, myself don't often have a clue about the technical nature of your inquiries but for those more mechanically savvy on this board, i am sure these discussions and discoveries are meaningful.

    Frank,

when you say proper position what do you mean? Let's say where the red dot is, what number is it?

I like the idea of a special techy section...I have a few minor write ups and pictures to post.

Also I was told to stay away from the jag distributor caps because of burn through and other issues...
