Well to me after watching it all the way through it wasn't bad, The titles is what made it sound bad. And also until he mentioned the fast and furious quotes I thought he was being an A**.

Cheap? Going "cheap" on anything usually is a bad idea in the long run. I suspect it would be worse in a Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren or other super car platform.

But hey....whatever.

My 355 has been reasonably inexpensive to maintain and drive.

It’s not a terrible video.....and I think it’ll be interesting to find out what all issues it has. Has some annoying parts in it for sure, but like I said, better than Demuro. haha.

I've learned that one thing you don't buy from ferrari or any of the major suppliers is consumable hardware. You'll just get a suitable replacment at ferrari prices.

This hose might be able to be made from some cheep hose thats out on the market I don't know never tried to match it with anything.


But this does beg the question how are the rest of his radiator hoses?

I don't think many people realize that our own Dave Lelonek (**********.com) can also source parts.

And I get where everyone is complaining about people complaining about the cost of repairs and how it is keeping the values down, but these are big boy toys- we got to pay to play. This is a REAL Ferrari. It could be worse... you could have a drug addiction or even children. Be glad its just parts and labor!

 

I work too hard for my money to help these guys make money by doing little to nothing to contribute to society.
I feel good for them but do not really support them.
At least with people like Chris Harris I get some good information

So whats the issue? What other people think of the 355? The (mostly) unfounded exaggeration of maintenance costs keep the prices down and gives the car a bad reputation?

For those who own and enjoy the 355 why does it matter what "other people" think of the car?

Keeps prices down? Thats a good thing IMO as it lets people in the know have the opportunity to own one of the best looking, best sounding Ferraris ever made. Keeps prices down? If it's such great car why are people obsessed with pricing? Want to see the $ high just so they can sell such a great car (kind of a catch 22 IMO) or they want the prices up so they can say my cars worth "$$" not just "$"

The F355 is one of the best looking, best sounding cars ever produced by Ferrari. People should own it for that reason alone and not have one care about whats it's public perception is. Of course I'm biased because my garage has been filled with mostly unloved models over the past 18 years ; 2V 308, 348 and Mondial but their value real or perceived has not once factored into my driving enjoyment.
