Sorry - I did search - no answers. I've seen them on at three SS models. I'm not a fan of aftermarket wheels on a Ferrari but they seem to fit a 348 well. Opinions?
    Thanks.

I have them, too. Love'em, but they were on when I bought it. I've read on here that they came from a company in Florida that had poor customer service. Don't know if they are still available but I'm sure someone here will have that information.

Mmmm, I'm going to say that looks like the Beyern 5, but it's kind of hard to tell from that angle.

Okay, now that I've seen the closeup I don't think it is the Beyern 5. I do not believe that wheel was ever offered as a real or faux 3-piece.

Those are the fake 3 piece Chinese wheels that have been on ebay from some company that comes and goes. They look nice but consider the source.

The wheels are fake? What does that mean?

That they aren't 3 piece modular wheels...the bolts that look like they are holding the modular wheels together are just welded on.

Where is that information? These have been on my 348 at least 7 years and there is no clear coat issue as on the link you posted.

Fake - get what you pay for.

Well any reputable company making a similar wheel style that you'd recommend?
    Thanks.

That they are not truly modular. I appreciate your input, by the way.

Oh OK, any one who has seen them or who owns them could tell you they aren't modular. You just find a picture of the back side of the rim and you will see no nuts on the other side of the bolts. It's a one piece wheel. I do like the look, but I'm just not going to run a Chinese wheel on my Ferrari. I have not heard of any first hand wheel failures with these wheels, but I have seen wheel failures happen with cheap quality rims.

If I were you I would spend just a little more and get a factory Ferrari wheel like a 360, 355 or 360 modular wheel. I've been using the 355 wheel. Many guys here have used these options on their cars. You can get used 360 wheels for $1500-$2500 and a little more for the modular wheels. Here's a link to a set of 360 modulars on ebay.

Here's one more for 355 wheels. I should mention some of the people who put the 360 wheels on their car have the inside of hub machined down on the rear 360 wheels a little as they tend to stick out past the fender too much. You can search the threads to find out how much.

Thanks again. The Brotherhood comes through once more. I knew there had been problems with the dealer, but not that these might be unsafe. My girls are garaged for the winter here but I'll be gearing up for a switch on the 348 in the Spring. Your help to me and the original poster is much appreciated!

Your welcome. My mechanic laughs at me because I have tried no less than 4 different sets of wheels on my 348. A wheel fetish he says, haa haa. Anyway I have probably wasted more time and money on wheels, spacers and lug bolts over the past 4 years than most. If you ever have any questions about them just PM me.

I will. My mechanic is a well-respected FChat guy (as was the previous owner - much of my pre-purchase due diligence was reading his posts here) but we have never discussed the wheels.

That's funny Brent! You and I have the same disease. When I look at the final cost for both the CCWs and the Advans + 2 sets of tires that I bought this year, I could have had another major done on the car. In the end, vanity is my worst enemy.

    Take care!

    -Greg

P.S. If anyone is interested in the black CCW C10 wheels that are shown on my car, send me a PM. I've got them for sale and will probably let them go for a very attractive price. More pics in my Album (go to my Fchat profile page to access the album.)

I think Brent should put BBS wheels on his car. And possibly add a Challenge steering wheel to match his grills :)
